Junior Lifeguard Academy

Junior Lifeguard Academy is a four day program designed for youth (10-14 years old) who are interested in becoming lifeguards, but do not meet the minimum age requirements. The Academy will help to prepare participants to make a smooth transition to the Lifeguard Training course.  Each program covers the same essential core material of the Lifeguard Training course, including responsibilities of a lifeguard, rescues, communication, teamwork, decision-making skills and fitness. 
 
Prerequisites: Must be able to swim 25 yards front crawl and breaststroke. 

$70 (with a season pool pass) / $80 (without a season pool pass)

Class meets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 8:15am-9:45am; at Simsbury Farms Pool

Session 1: June 29 - July 3 (no 7/1)
Session 2: July 13 - July 17 (no 7/15)
Session 3: July 27 - July 31 (no 7/29)
