The Trojan Baseball April Vacation Camp

At the Simsbury Trojan Baseball Camp, each player will experience hands-on instruction. The primary focus of the clinic will be hitting, fielding, baserunning, and game situations. Players will also be taught skills that apply not only to the baseball field but to off the field as well. These skills will be goal setting, preparation, hard work, persistence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. All players will be kept within their own age and ability bracket. Games will be played daily at each level. Each player will receive a t-shirt. Please send your child in with a glove, bat, water bottle, and cleats.

Friday, 4/12, will be reserved as a rain date if needed.

Pitching Instruction:
A supplement to the Simsbury Trojan Baseball Camp, for players who have an interest in pitching. Special instruction, proper pitching mechanics, wind-up, stretch, long tossing, different pitches and grips, pick-off moves, fielding from pitcher's position and arm strengthening are the focus of the week. Players will also receive one-on-one instruction on the pitching mound. **Each player will be emailed a before and after video breaking down their pitching mechanics.** This will be held from 8:00-8:55 am prior to the camp.
